Video Editor & Content Repurposing Specialist
Description
We are looking for a Video Editor & Content Repurposing Specialist to transform long-form content into engaging short-form content across multiple brands and client accounts. This role is focused on creating content designed for growth, engagement and business outcomes. We are not looking for a traditional videographer. We are looking for someone who understands how content performs on social media and can edit videos that hold attention and drive action. The successful candidate will work across founder brands, podcasts, client accounts, educational content and marketing campaigns.
Necessary skills and qualifications:
- Strong experience with CapCut and Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects preferred).
- Deep understanding of platform-specific content for Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and LinkedIn video.
- Fast and accurate creation of dynamic, highlight, and branded caption styles.
- Integrating logos, screenshots, statistics, visual callouts, and motion graphics to improve engagement.
- Ability to identify hooks, key moments, and strong narrative structures directly from raw footage.
- Experience with Canva, Figma, Descript, Riverside, Opus Clip, and ElevenLabs.
- Proactively suggesting better edits, new formats, improved hooks, and content opportunities.
- Strong focus on branding consistency, timing, audio, and visual quality.
- Working independently to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Understanding that content exists to drive engagement, authority, leads, and growth—not simply to look visually impressive.
- 2+ years editing social-first video content.
- Portfolio of short-form content.
- Experience editing for social media platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Creating talking-head, founder, educational, thought leadership, case study, and podcast/event clips.
- Optimizing content for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
- Transforming podcasts, interviews, meetings, webinars, voice notes, and presentations into high-performing short-form videos, teasers, and content series.
- Ability to independently identify strong hooks and engaging moments without detailed instructions.
- Editing for high retention and engagement using captions, hooks, motion graphics, zooms, B-roll, transitions, and CTAs.
- Partnering with Content Strategists, Paid Media Specialists, Founders, and Account Managers.
- Producing creative assets for organic and paid social, lead generation, and brand awareness campaigns.
- Maintaining content libraries, brand assets, templates, and project folders to ensure efficient production across multiple brands.
