Internship at Embrox for Lviv Polytechnic Students

The best designer is not just someone who creates beautiful images, but the one who infuses them with meaning and notices the nuances. In a world of fierce competition, brands are not just a collection of products on shelves or links in Google search results; they embody individuality and provide an emotional connection beyond their intended use.

That's why we believe it's essential for students to work on real projects. This year, students from Lviv Polytechnic completed their internships at Embrox.

Their assignment had two parts:

• The creation of branded products such as stickers, lunchboxes, pins, umbrellas, and bucket hats.
• The formation of an article for our website using infographics.

Over two weeks, the students analyzed our company's website, social media, and online mentions. We were pleasantly surprised by how well they captured our core message and noticed the various details and accents we use.

Veronica created a collage from the photos we use and noticed that our office has a lot of green, even though it’s not our brand color. She suggested incorporating green into the stickers as a complementary color, which was a great idea.

And of course, creativity was not lacking. Iryna "coded" a dinner and found the best spot for meetings as well as deciphered the secret of what IT specialists can't work without.

One of our favorites was a concept related to embroidery. We consistently highlight our pride in being a Ukrainian company, which is why our name includes "embroidery." Olha found software that generates a corresponding ornament element for each letter. She created an incredible cross-stitched flower from the name Embrox. Afterward, she used this design for patterns on eco-bags, umbrellas, and bucket hats.

The second part of the assignment was perhaps less creative but equally crucial. Formatting articles is not just about combining text with images; it involves meeting technical requirements, proper placement, and maximizing readability.

In the era of information overload, users only engage with text if it has convenient formatting, highlighted accents, and clearly defined main content.

We are sincerely grateful to the students for their work and hope to see them in the IT industry, or perhaps even at our company someday. Meanwhile, we are in the process of selecting the best layouts for printing branded materials.
